Here's an animated GIF showing the progress of the models and materials. Some of the colors are messed up due to the GIF compression, but should give an idea.
One thing about this scene is almost every material has some reflective properties to it. This really helped anchor the material to the scene.
Also, the scene is comprised of one HDR map and one spot light. I really liked lighting it this way instead of painting with light since the HDR image I had closely matched this urban setting.
I'm not happy with the jacket, but ran out of time to make the deadline. May revisit it to finish, but initial sculpting in ZBrush turned out to be a bit "blobby". Need more practice making sharp edges and corners. ZBrush v2.5's Flatten brush should help with this. |
